Welcome, visitor, to my corner in the imaginary place called the “Internet”. I have no philosophy, religion or lifestyle to espouse. This is a virtual place in which to browse ideas, multi-media incidents, cultural transition and reconstruction. Here you'll find commentary and links to things I find interesting, entertaining, surreal, meaningful, or just strange. In short, an exploration of ideas spread by word of mouse.
So sit back, enjoy a hot cup of coffee or chai or whatever your beverage of leisure might be, and explore. You may wish to indulge in a personal vice such as tobacco or free-thought: I encourage you to do so, but remember, it is at your own risk. We live in times of thought control and digital manipulation by governments, corporations, religions, and individuals with private agendas. This website is dedicated to the only true freedom we have left: that of the imagination to envision any and all possibilities, and to see things as they are, and ought to be.
Your comments, opinions and even criticisms (as unthinkable as these may be) are extremely welcome.Address all comments, fan email, monetary

Keeping in my fine tradition of presenting interesting links and objects of curiosity without blathering personal opinions, I present to you now some real gems if you haven't discovered them on your own yet. Also, thoughts on the meaning of life.
The meaning of life, for biological life, is to make more life. Sea Turtles lay hundreds of eggs, so that a few of their offspring will make it past the predators of the beach to the water ... everything flows towards reproduction ... it's deep in the little r-center of our basic reptilian brains so far back in our biology ......... the meaning of life is to make a great quantity of life. It's hardwired into our animal selves. But we are intelligent. We have power, divinity, and meaning.
We have "selves" which transcend the physical, the animal. If we were to reproduce with the wild abandon of a sea turtle or average Catholic family, we would soon over-populate the earth. We have no natural predators. Sea gulls don't eat our children on the way to school (generally). So if we were to follow the biological model, we would screw ourselves out of living space, available food, and available resources.
For us, the meaning is not the quantity, but the quality. Due to our minds, our ability to create, we have a unique, divine obligation to create art, to bring meaning to life, to transcend life. Our hearts, souls, and minds bestows upon us a special obligation, almost an ethical obligation, to create, to bring meaning. For me, that's the meaning of life. In our own ways, we are all gods, we are all lost, and we are all divine, all at the same time, and our creations are our ways of trying to atone with this profound obligation of being human.
Of course, I also think the meaning of life can also be found in hot coffee on a chilled November afternoon as rain falls outside..... if you look for it.
